I have a head size between 7 7/8 and 8. I usually cannot just go into a store and buy a hat. I've purchased hats in stores that really only barely fit and seem to be based on a design that starts with a smaller hat and brim that the opening was somehow made larger. They always looked small on my head. I bought this hat and love it so much I'm buying another. It's great to finally get something that fits so well.
