I had to have this to replace a similar hat I've had for 30 yeas that I lost 2 weeks ago. I bought it on a ski trip when I was 21 and now I'm 51. I know it's silly, but I had such an attachment to it. My original was made just like this but was olive on the inside and black on out. This was black both sides but was the only match I could find. It's very heavy fleece and double layered, While its a bit pricey with shipping for one hat, I just had to replace my lost at and this was the closest match I could find. It's a little bigger than y original, but washing and drying I'm hoping to shrink it a little. Overall it was the best I could do. It is SUPER WARM even when wet.
