It is wider at about 5 inches in the front, and it gets narrower toward the back to about 2 inches. On the front, you will find a cute bow placed at an angel for a modern feel. On the back, you will find 2 medium-sized (1" diameter) buttons for an adjustable fit. However, it is knitted and stretches a bit, so it is certain to fit most people. The knit is single layer, but it is knitted in such a fashion that it feel thick without the weight.
